Deckbuilding Competition - October 2021

While setting parameters that encourage innovation is the entire point of these contests, limiting users' card pools to a single block seemed to lead to a lot of inclusions by default. After all, there are only so many playable cards in any given color identity within a block. The innovation largely came from choosing a block with a well-supported legend rather than selecting the remaining 99. There's definitely some merit to this and we did have some great submissions, but it wasn't quite the experience that we're looking to facilitate. A good lesson for us, regardless!\n\nFor October, to test the bounds of deckbuilding parameters the other way, we've decided to overcompensate with an incredibly broad prompt.
