While these tweaks include some very intentional improvements, we recognize that certain aspects of the update are more subjective. Below, we detail exactly what’s changed and why. "},{"insert":"\n\n"},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent"},"insert":"Deck Layout"},{"attributes":{"header":2},"insert":"\n"},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent","bold":true},"insert":"Commander category to the top left"},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent"},"insert":" - Over the years, users have expressed interest in seeing the commander category in the top left-hand corner instead of the right. This theoretically makes sense for those who read their native language left to right, but we definitely want to hear how it feels in use. "},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent","bold":true},"insert":"Static stacks - "},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent"},"insert":"When hovering over a card within a stack, the rest of that stack “moving” downward will no longer push other stacks further down the page. Instead, the lowest card (the face of the stack) will have its bottom portion fade away. "},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent","bold":true},"insert":"Stack ordering - "},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent"},"insert":"Your stacks should no longer fly across the page unpredictably. They are now ordered alphabetically from left to right. If there isn’t enough space horizontally for each of your stacks to have its own column, they’ll order down then wrap to the right. "},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent","bold":true},"insert":"Increased margins between columns - "},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent"},"insert":"We’ve slightly increased the space between columns of stacks."},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent","bold":true},"insert":"Adjusted deck margins - "},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent"},"insert":"There are now containers for both the deck and deck description areas. To compensate for the aforementioned increased space between columns, we’ve pushed these containers’ margins out slightly.  "},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"\n"},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent"},"insert":"After this update went live late last night, we received a number of bug reports related to stack alphabetization and the drag and drop feature. These have since been resolved– thank you to all who alerted us to the issues! We also made some adjustments to deck margins based on user feedback. "},{"insert":"\n\n"},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent"},"insert":"This update, more than any other in recent memory, contains changes that could be polarizing. We’ve done our best to make what we feel are improvements to the user experience– hopefully we’ve hit the mark on most, but maybe not. "},{"insert":"\n\n"},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent"},"insert":"Here’s the important bit: we want to hear from you. The good, the bad, and everything in between. As this update addressed some pretty subjective elements, we want to make sure we’re still on the right track for what users want out of the deck layout. In the comments, we’d sincerely appreciate your thoughts!"},{"insert":"\n\n"},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent"},"insert":"Until next time!"},{"insert":"\n"},{"attributes":{"background":"transparent"},"insert":"Andy"},{"insert":"\n\nUpdate - March 3, 2022"},{"attributes":{"header":2},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"Based on user feedback, we've made a few tweaks and fixed a number of bugs initially introduced with this update:\nMargin size has been further limited on smaller screens, allowing more columns of stacks on a single deck page."},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"The new \"fade\" effect on the bottom card as a stack shifts downward will only occur if it's going under another stack. We agree with those that said that the previous iteration looked odd."},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"Sideboards will no longer duplicate themselves."},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"The star for setting a card's primary category works once again."},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"Cards will no longer duplicate when moved from the maybeboard."},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"Alphabetical stack sorting is once again functional."},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"We've adjusted our stack sorting algorithm to not leave blank columns."},{"attributes":{"list":"bullet"},"insert":"\n"},{"insert":"\nWe appreciate all the feedback we've had thus far and certainly want to hear any other you have to offer!\n\n"}]}
