Boros IS good.

That, and the access to my personal favorite piece of equipment (which I'll go into detail about further down) make these two an optimal choice. One last thing to keep in mind, is that my playgroup is pretty casual, but only in the sense that we tend to shy away from combos, MLD, extra turns, and a few other things. {"ops":[{"insert":"I really like your deck, I have a similar deck myself. I am very happy with those two as my commanders, since I often find that i can knockout someone with a single punch from Akiri, especially with the help from Bruse Tarl. I Also really like how Bruse synergises with moltensteel dragon, giving you the oppurtunity to oneshot someone in turn 5.\n\nMy own Akiri/Bruse Tarl deck:\n\nhttps://archidekt.com/decks/437354#Akiri_and_Bruse\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"I dig the list man. I might have to start running Moltensteel as well, that's an awesome interaction. I would definitely take a look at Fervent Champion if I were you. That card has put in SO much work for me. It comes down and decimates people out of nowhere. \n"}]}

Boros is good now!\" Lol.....New Akiri will absolutely be going in this deck, but Akiri//Bruse is what I'm going to continue to run at the helm, and it's not even close. Having two solid commanders is still way better than having one, and with the right equipment package this deck doesn't struggle with anything (certainly not card draw). \n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"Mono red has some card filtering like https://edhrec.com/cards/faithless-looting or https://edhrec.com/cards/magmatic-insight honestly https://edhrec.com/commanders/subira-tulzidi-caravanner could be one of the best mono red card draw commanders I could see it go in 5 color hidden commander\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"Yeah I've considered those, but this deck really doesn't struggle with card advantage. With two solid and cheap commanders right in the command zone, as well as a good number of equipment that provide card advantage I've rarely ever had issues with it. The very few times I've struggled have been when I've just had a few too many of those "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Sunforger"}},{"insert":" instants in hand. But usually all I need to do is drop Akiri, a couple equipment, then Bruse, and it's off to the races. \n"}]}
