Go figure, people don't like being told how to play the game. Of course, this would probably be even stronger with an ETB commander but the deck has a hand full of creatures that can accrue value through extra ETBs I wanted to try to make Thantis as sticky as possible. With all three of these pieces, once you deal damage to a player with a pirate, Malcolm will trigger, making one or more treasures, which trigger Reckless Fireweaver, which will deal damage to each opponent, triggering Malcolm again and in turn triggering Reckless Fireweaver, and repeating until your opponents' life totals are reduced to zero.\n\nThe deck is also very budget friendly at only around $60, and is a fresh take on the Izzet storm archetype. It'll take some practice to build up speed and consistently keep track of all the triggers, but it's a blast to play when it goes off!\n"}]}

It's an enchantment deck with a frog subtheme led by one of my favorite commanders from Neon Dynasty! The goal is to get Tatsunari and Keimi out as soon as possible to start draining my opponents by playing cheap enchantments. There are also other drain cards like Dina, Soul Steeper in the deck to continue draining even if Keimi dies. The deck is also a great option for budget players, since it only costs about $35 to make.\n"}]}

What makes this deck go, though, is leveraging the higher-rarity cards to get powerful engines and locks in place, such as Contamination or Smokestack largely invalidating what its opponents are trying to do. It's a potentially explosive, potentially durdly roulette wheel that can apply one of the hardest to break locks in magic simply by using "},{"insert":{"card-link":"Chimney Imp"}},{"insert":" , one of the worst creatures in magic. It's weird, its wacky, it's very Shirei.\n"}]}

{"ops":[{"insert":"Wait, Dis-Card Flips?\n\nI realized when I was building that we tend to take our rares and mythics for granted, so I wanted to make the most of those 8 slots. Including my commander [[Nicol Bolas, the Ravager]] , each of my rares and mythics is a card that flips or transforms. After all, 8 transforming rares is like 16 normal rares, right? This small sub-theme was kept in the rest of the deck, which centers around a discard-based strategy. I enlisted the most-synergistic double-faced cards I could find to make the most of our strategy, and also found some fun Pauper options in the process.
